Jillian MacLeod, PMHNP

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I am a provider at our Boston South End clinic who offers psychiatric services!

Life can be overwhelming…whether due to anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or trauma. If you’re feeling disconnected from the person you know you can be, I’m here to help you rediscover the best version of yourself.

I specialize in supporting folks who are navigating the complexities of life, including the queer community, military families, healthcare professionals, and those struggling with addiction. Life is messy, and you don’t have to face it alone.

I combine medication management with psychotherapy in a way that’s tailored to you—because I understand that one size does not fit all. Starting or changing medication can be scary, and we’ll work together to find what works best for you. My approach values building authentic and meaningful relationships over simply providing medication refills.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about coffee, yoga, travel, and meeting new people. I’m a full human, both in and out of session, and I’m committed to fostering a safe, nonjudgmental space for you. I have a decade of experience working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, and I hold a Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
In addition to clinical practice, I’m deeply passionate about education and advocacy. I teach psychiatric and mental health nursing at the university level, where I work to inspire the next generation of providers and promote compassionate, evidence-based care across the field.
