Mental Health Counselor
I take my clients as they come with whatever issues they happened to be struggling with at the time and I do everything within my power and expertise to assist in helping them to acquire some semblance of balance, certainty and internal stability, that they may be able to utilize the skills they’ve learned in therapy to stand on their own without therapeutic assistance.
My strengths in conducting therapy lies in my ability to be highly logical, complemented by empathy. My analytical abilities allows me to be able observe connections between between past and present occurrences and established behavioral patterns. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to challenge belief systems about oneself that may be contributing to the emotions, thoughts and actions that form habits and patterns of thinking that possibly cause undesired outcomes in a person’s life. Also, my skill sets allows me to work with anxiety and depressive moods primarily, or rather the various compendiums of existential components that cause anxiety and depression. I am person-centered and I care rather deeply about authenticity in my relationships with my clients. Without the transparency and trust that authenticity brings to the table, it is considerably difficult to traverse overt and covert internal complexities within an individual when trust is not present.
I’m not certain what else I would want my client’s to know about me. There’s nothing I can say that would be noteworthy or relevant. I suppose I have a passion for drawing and writing. These are essentially my only two hobbies, but that’s about all I can say.
