Alex Almeida, MS, MFT

Hi, I’m Alex (pronouns: she/her) and I am a Master’s Level Clinician/ Marriage and Family Therapist here at Northeast Health Services – Fall River. I provide therapy services in-person and via telehealth. I am committed to helping individuals, couples and families learn how to cope with life’s stressors and challenges. While I enjoy helping people across a variety of presenting problems, my work has focused on anxiety and depression management, relational difficulties, LGBTQIA+ challenges and trauma recovery. I believe in taking a client-centered, collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals, as they are the experts on their own lives.
Working with me, you will be met with kindness, unconditional positive regard and a healthy dose of humor. You will do some hard work, but you won’t be doing it alone as I am here to be your compassionate guide through life’s twists and turns. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming stress, past traumas, or simply seeking personal growth, I will support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery. Together, we will help you find the strength to overcome obstacles and embrace the fullness of life.

Alex earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science and her Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Rhode Island. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, snowboarding, traveling, cooking and spending time with loved ones.
