My ideal client is someone who is a good fit for my services, someone who I enjoy working with, and someone who is likely to benefit from therapy. All issues and needs are welcomed with the expectation that working collaboratively, they can be better handled.
My main goal is to facilitate positive change in clients seeking better emotional and social functioning to improve their feelings of satisfaction and the overall quality of their lives. Within my sessions, I would like to help clients develop better cognitive and emotional skills, reduce symptoms of mental illness, and assist in helping them find ways to cope with various life challenges to improve their lives. Within my sessions, I offer a safe space where clients can feel heard as well as understood and would serve as a guide to see how each clients feelings, thoughts, choices, and actions affect them.
Mental health often affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Having a support system that assist you in those times can really benefit your everyday life and I am here to do just that.
