Psychotherapist Master of Science in Clinical Psychology
My ideal client is a client struggling with perfectionism, demands and/or high stress. This client may present with high anxiety, depression, OCD, or ADHD. The patient may be any age. Ideally my client is looking for ways to live a fulfilling life. They may feel that they are not meeting their goals, or are not delivering “something” to their environment that they want to. Ideally, my client will be self-motivated, rather than led into therapy by some external factor.
My experience is mostly with youths and adults who juggle multiple commitments. This may come in the form of family juggling, extracurricular balancing or high demand jobs. My strategies employ ACT based service, and I also utilize CBT and DBT where necessary. I have experience in niche therapies such as exposure therapy for OCD, as well as virtual exposure therapy.
Besides education and training, I have extensive experience living in multiple states, and countries. Inclusion is thus very important to me, and I know how important it is to relate to individuals before sharing stories. I also believe that when one is resistant to the therapeutic process, they have not been asked the right question yet.
