Mental Health Counselor
I am a clinician at our Marlborough clinic who provides therapy services.
While I believe every client is unique and there is no such thing as a truly “ideal” client, I can describe the type of client I feel particularly equipped to support based on my training and passion for trauma-informed care.
My ideal client is someone who has experienced trauma and is seeking a safe, supportive space to heal. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties as a result of past experiences. Their needs often include emotional safety, validation, and practical coping tools to help manage overwhelming feelings. Their goals may include developing a stronger sense of self, building healthier relationships, and creating a life that feels more stable, fulfilling, and aligned with their values.
What they truly want is healing, connection, and freedom from the patterns that have been holding them back. They come to therapy because they are ready—or trying to be ready—to reclaim their sense of agency and rewrite their story in a way that honors both their past and their potential.
I specialize in trauma-informed counseling, and I offer a safe, compassionate space for clients to explore their experiences and begin the healing process. My approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practices that support clients in building resilience and reclaiming their sense of self after trauma.
I help by walking alongside clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, and the lasting impacts of trauma. I integrate grounding techniques, psychoeducation, and collaborative goal-setting to empower clients to understand their patterns, develop coping skills, and move toward greater emotional freedom and stability.
What I offer is not just support—but a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and consistency. My goal is to help clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they work toward the life they want to live.
I want my clients to know that I see them as whole people—not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. I understand that reaching out for help can be one of the hardest and bravest steps someone takes, and I deeply honor that courage. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, accepted, and never judged.
I’m here to walk with you through the challenges—not to fix you, but to support you as you discover your own strength, insight, and healing. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, or just trying to make sense of life, I offer a calm, grounded presence and a deep commitment to your growth.
If you’re feeling unsure or hesitant, that’s okay. You’re not alone, and you’re welcome here exactly as you are.
