I am an Intern at our Lawrence clinic who provides therapy services!

Mental health needs can arise at any time in our lives. Behavioral support, academic and social challenges, adapting to new environments, experiences with bullying, and establishing identities are just some of the highlights of childhood, youth/adolescence – early years. Support on personal and professional fronts, working on anxieties, compulsions, phobias, regulation of emotions and behaviors, and sometimes just wanting to rediscover the inner strength and motivation.

As a mental health therapist intern, I am eager to start practicing what I have been learning. My priority, however, is ensuring that I attend to every client with the best of my knowledge, education, and humanity. Acceptance and Commitment is one of the therapeutic features that I strive to maintain as well.

I like to meet my clients where they are and understand their needs and concerns from their perspective. Confidentiality, respect, a nonjudgmental helping relationship, genuine curiosity, and cultural humility are my non-negotiables that I offer my clients. I ensure that my clients are always informed and consulted in the collaborative process of therapy.
