Stephanie Tesorero, MHC

Mental Health Counselor

I am a clinician at our Sudbury clinic who provides therapy services!

My ideal client would be between the ages of 17-29. They could be struggling with social issues, anxiety, relationships, depression, pressure about school or early life. Wanting to work on feeling better, become more productive, relationship goals. Hoping they could become a better version of themselves.

I have a background in education. I was a teacher for 23 years and then decided to switch my career path to become an LMHC, as I saw a great need for mental health awareness in the elementary, middle, and high schools. I specialize in working with students who face challenges related to Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), anxiety, and trauma. My approach is grounded in empathy, structure, and consistent support, helping young people feel safe, understood, and empowered to make positive choices. I bring a deep understanding of behavioral interventions, and emotional regulation strategies, allowing me to bridge the gap between school expectations and individual student needs.

As a therapist, I bring deep compassion, empathy, and understanding to every session. I genuinely love working with kids as well as young adults and have dedicated my career to supporting those who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges like ODD. I understand the emotional and social hurdles students face—both in and out of the classroom—and I’m committed to helping them feel seen, heard, and empowered. My approach is grounded in building trust, teaching coping strategies, and creating a safe space where real growth can happen.
