Rikki Garcia, MA

Mental Health Counselor

My name is Rikki Garcia, a California native working with children, teens, and families. I support marginalized communities facing trauma and co-occurring diagnoses and have experience helping families navigate complex systems. Using a relational, attachment-focused approach, I create a warm, nonjudgmental space for growth. If you or your child feel stuck or overwhelmed, we can work toward healing and stronger connections together. I offer therapy services at our Chestnut Hill clinic.

I help clients understand themselves and the patterns that may keep them stuck. My work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, with a focus on attachment and co-regulation. Together, we explore how early experiences shape emotions, behaviors, and relationships. I specialize in attachment wounds, anxiety, self-esteem and emotional regulation.

I attend to how relational dynamics emerge in clients’ lives and in the therapy room, using these moments to deepen insight and change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I create a safe space where clients feel seen and understood, supporting emotional awareness, resilience, and more secure ways of relating.
