I am a clinician at our Lowell clinic who provides therapy services!

My ideal client would most likely be a teenager transitioning into their teenage years. Issues would be things such as low self-esteem for example feeling as if they are not good enough in certain aspects or they are likely experiencing intense worry about their social life, school performance, and how they’re perceived by others. My ideal client would need emotional support and validation as well as tools for building confidence and finding character. I believe my client wants someone who is able to listen and understand their emotions during this transition. I think they want a supportive, safe, therapeutic environment. They may also want to feel happier and have improvement in their life socially, personally and academically.

As someone who understands the emotional and mental obstacles individuals have to work through, I am someone who enters the conversation with compassion and support. While at the same time validating their emotions, I will also challenge their negative thoughts. I’ll teach tips on how to guide them to have a positive relationship with themselves- self-compassion and acceptance. We will also be able to work on things such as mindfulness or journaling in moments of stress. I understand that sometimes we don’t understand how you feel so therefore you cannot explain. We can find ways that explain how you feel without direct words such as games or worksheets or other personal stories they have to share.

I want you to know that I genuinely care about your well-being and that you don’t have to navigate this alone. I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can express yourself freely, explore your feelings, and work through what’s really going on. Whether you’re struggling with school, relationships, or just your own thoughts, I’m here to support you in whatever way you need. I believe that everyone has the ability to grow, heal, and become more confident. Together, we’ll focus on small steps that can lead to big changes, one day at a time.
