Clinical Mental Health Counselor

As a mental health counselor, I offer an individualized, person-centered lens of therapy with my clients. Whether their needs include building interpersonal skills with others or building intrapersonal skills within themselves, I believe that successful therapy stems from giving power to the client’s voice. With my guidance, I’m confident that my knowledge and techniques in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) can grow new and existing skills.
I have experience in treating both adults and adolescents with diagnoses such as ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, and overall Trauma. I enjoy to begin my work by getting to know what the client’s perspective on their issues, needs, and goals are. I also believe it’s important to hold a safe space through our collaboration together. I enjoy the analogy where the client is driving the car while I hold the road map. We go where the client wants, but I inform them of any dead end roads or construction zones ahead. You know yourself the best, and I hope with my experience, I’m able to get to know you too!
I value the time and effort each and every client brings to our therapy sessions. As someone who has participated in therapy myself, I know it can sometimes feel uncomfortable, therefore I want my clients to feel that their effort never goes unnoticed. I will offer endless support because I believe each individual has the potential to reach their goals. I’d love to ride with you on your mental health journey.
