Hello, my name is Melissa Gutierrez and I am a clinical mental health intern at the Lowell, MA clinic. I am currently a graduate student at Merrimack College and have my bachelors degree in Psychology. I have experience working with children with Autism as I am a Behavior Technician. My goal is to provide you with the support you need and to create a safe and open environment for you to express yourself while targeting any stressors or issues we may want to work on.

I will create a safe space and work together to create specific goals. My specialty is with children, and I will provide a welcoming learning experience for my clients. We will work together to find techniques and coping mechanisms to live more comfortably, as well as creating interventions that support our personal goals.

I am looking forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals. It is important that I acknowledge how amazing it is for you to want to seek help and wanting to work through these issues or feelings we are having and I am here to provide you with all the support you need.
