I am a provider at our Newton clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. I draw upon cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered, and solution-focused approaches to lead my clients where they want to be. I believe in the power of examining our own thoughts, behavior, childhood experiences and patterns to better understand ourselves. I believe in encouraging and empowering my clients to rediscover their strength to tackle life’s challenges.
My ideal client would be anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions and stressors. Their goals would be to manage symptoms, uncover and discover new things about themselves, and be interested in exploring the “why” behind behavior and emotions.
As a counselor, I believe my clients have the strength already inside of them to conquer life’s challenges. I am passionate about reigniting that strength and providing a comfortable environment for my clients to share their struggles and success stories. I firmly believe in the power of therapy and have seen how the therapeutic relationship can inspire and heal people, including myself. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to be exactly who you are and to cheer you on along the way.
