My ideal client struggles with self-esteem or self-worth, struggles with anxiety, depression, relationships with family, and stressful life transitions. My ideal client feels stuck and overwhelmed, and strives to find a clear direction in life but does not have the tools to discover this themselves. My client needs a safe, nonjudgmental space to openly express their thoughts and feelings. My client needs tools and strategies to cope with day-to-day struggles, and guidance in self-awareness and self-compassion. Their goals are to feel more in control of their emotions and responses, to develop healthier relationships with themselves and others, and to find a clear sense of purpose in their life. Clients want to feel hear, understood and empowered to take control of their lives. They might have never felt this way in their life and were not equipped with the tools and strategies to help them navigate difficult life situations.
I can help my client by providing a safe space for them to be open about their innermost thoughts and feelings, listen actively to both verbal and body cues, ask inquisitive questions that provoke thoughtful responses that allows the client to view their situation from a completely different perspective. My specialty is CBT, DBT, and solution focused therapy.
I understand that seeking help can feel intimidating, but I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey. I am here to provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, respected, and validated in your thoughts and feelings. My approach is rooted in empathy, and I genuinely believe that healing begins with understanding and compassion. I work collaboratively with my clients, meeting you where you are at and help you build tools you need to navigate life’s challenges. I also understand that everyone’s path to healing is unique, and I intend to tailer our sessions to fit your individual needs in an effort to meet you where you are at.
