Mental Health Counselor
I am a clinician at our Dedham clinic who provides therapy services!
My ideal client is an individual who is struggling with issues such as self-esteem, navigating transitions in life, anxiety, and depression. The individual hopes to discover coping strategies to address their negative thought and behavior patterns. They strive to make positive changes and become the best version of themselves.
My experience is largely with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and strengths-based therapies. I believe each client benefits from a unique approach, and I work collaboratively with clients to create a customized treatment plan that integrates various techniques. I am passionate about helping individuals throughout the lifespan, ages 6 to 65+, achieve mental wellness.
I’ll share a little about myself. Before pivoting to a new career in the mental health field, I was an elementary and middle school PE teacher. I am a former figure skater who enjoys spending my free time coaching aspiring figure skaters and hockey players. My core belief is that falling, making mistakes, and experiencing setbacks provide a powerful opportunity to learn, grow, and build resilience. If you are ready to take this step, I invite you to reach out and contact me.
