Mental Health Counselor

I am a clinician at our Milford clinic who provides therapy services!
My ideal client is someone who struggles with anxiety, trauma responses, emotional dysregulation, or low self-worth. They are seeking to increase their self-awareness and identify patterns in their behavior that no longer serve them. Their goals include learning and practicing coping skills to manage distress and regulate their emotions. They want to rebuild a sense of agency and develop self-compassion. Additionally, they aim to build healthier relationships through improved communication and boundary-setting. Ultimately, they want to feel calm, safe, and in control of their emotions.
To help a client, they need to be motivated, not because they have everything figured out, but because they are willing to show up and do the work, even when it feels uncomfortable. They should value the therapeutic relationship and remain open to exploring and embracing change.
My role is to walk alongside the client without judgment, to help them slow things down, make sense of experiences, give coping skills and find their own strength again. I believe healing happens through connection and that your story matters, even the messy, complicated parts.
