Mental Health Counselor
I am a clinician at our Newton clinic who provides therapy services!
I work best with clients who carry a strong drive—whether that shows up as perfectionism in adults or competitiveness in kids. Beneath that drive, there’s often a deeper desire to be seen, understood, and accepted. With adults, I connect most with those seeking clarity within themselves, and I bring a non-judgmental, validating presence that helps them understand the roots of their behavior without shame. With children, I resonate most with big-feeling, high-energy kids who are assertive and joyful at their core. I meet their persistence with flexibility and use relationship and play as tools for growth.
My approach is relational at its core, but I also integrate mindfulness, journaling, and other reflective practices to help clients deepen insight and create meaningful shifts outside of session. I adjust my style based on what each client needs, but the goal is always the same: to help them feel seen, understood, and more free to be themselves.
For anyone who might be considering reaching out, whether for yourself or on behalf of your child, just know this: You don’t have to be “put together” to start therapy. This work is about what’s real, not what’s polished. My job is to create a space where you can be fully yourself—no matter what that means.
