Master of Social Work
I’m Faith Parent, MSW, a trauma-informed clinician specializing in culturally responsive care, major life transitions and complex trauma/C-PTSD. I offer therapy services at our Pembroke, MA clinic.
My strengths-based, family-systems approach considers how relationships, environments, and intergenerational patterns shape coping and healing. I’ve led forensic detox groups using CBT/DBT-informed skills (emotion regulation, distress tolerance, relapse prevention) and supported harm reduction and co-occurring care coordination. I work with children, teens, and adults, including justice-system–involved youth. Expect steady support, practical goals, and tools you can use right away!
I help clients stabilize during crisis and heal from trauma, including C-PTSD. Using a strengths-based, family-systems approach, I teach emotion regulation and practical coping tools. I support children, teens, and adults navigating substance use, justice involvement, and major transitions, with clear goals and real-world strategies.
Reaching out can be hard—especially if you’ve been carrying a lot alone. I offer a steady, nonjudgmental space where we move at your pace and focus on practical steps that help in real life. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just ready for support, I’d be glad to talk and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to have it all figured out first.
