Daniella Yu Cordero, MA

Mental Health Counselor

I am a clinician at our Boston – Brighton clinic who provides therapy services!

Women’s issues including domestic violence, refugees and immigrants, racial and colonial trauma, generalized trauma, spiritual confusion, children and art therapy, Spanish speaking, relationship issues, group therapy, family therapy, vocational support, grief and loss, and treating addictions.

These are clients who want to engage in self-discovery and self-empowerment. People who are looking for person-centered, social justice driven, behavioral and psychological changes to become their best selves.

I bring mindfulness, narrative therapy, and a decolonial approach into my practice. Serving Hispanic communities and beyond.

I am from Puerto Rico and I am in my late 20’s. I am passionate about mental health and its connection to the expressive arts, mindfulness, and somatic awareness. I am interested in the interpersonal process of therapy where the relationship we develop is central to a corrective emotional experience from which the client can engage more creatively with their life. I am also interested in family systems theories as they inform how generational stories form part of our own in a multicultural way.
