Licensed Social Worker Associate

I am a clinician at our Somerville clinic who provides therapy services!

I want youth and families to feel empowered to navigate their stressors on multiple levels – individual, family, and systemic. There is no such thing as an “ideal client” because the external factors that bring people to therapy are generally far from ideal. I try to meet clients where they are and tailor treatment personally, aiming to help them develop appropriate coping skills and make positive changes in their lives.

I bring extensive experience in working with children, teens, and their families, especially those whose family systems have been impacted by divorce, separation, and state involvement. My work is informed by tenets of social justice and narrative theory as well as elements of CBT, SFBT, and motivational interviewing.

It takes great courage to reach out for support, and I am excited to work together with you to navigate whichever challenges come your way. We can talk about them, write stories about them, draw about them, play games and get creative!
