Counselor
I am a counselor at our Boston – Government Center clinic who provides therapy services!
Hi! My name is Chloe and I work with individuals of all ages. My experience includes working with depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD, chronic illnesses, emotional regulation, significant medical diagnoses, Bipolar disorders, OCD, LGBTQ+ issues, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, etc. I always take a person centered and trauma-informed approach, while also utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Solution Focused Therapy, depending on the client and their needs. I believe that each client’s needs are different and therefore require this type of individualized approach.
My goal is to help the client navigate their situation by letting them freely discuss what they are going through, and ultimately helping them to develop coping strategies and find tools that they can utilize in life when problems arise. I strive to help my clients find or redefine their purpose and live an independent, happy, healthy and fulfilling life.
My office is a judgement-free and safe space: I want my clients to know that I am kind, accepting, honest, empathetic, trustworthy, and open-minded. I want every client to be able to feel safe and comfortable when they are in a session with me and be able to share their honest thoughts. My role is to listen and be supportive while also offering guidance to help the client navigate whatever they may be going through. Therapy is a collaborative process and I want the client to be able to lead the session in the direction that they feel makes the most sense.
