Mental Health Counselor
I am a clinician at our Braintree clinic who provides therapy services!
My ideal clients are children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. Many are struggling with anxiety, depression, identity development, trauma, or difficulties in relationships; often in environments that lack the support or understanding they need.
These clients need a space where they feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. They benefit from a therapeutic relationship that combines empathy, validation, gentle care, and at times, appropriate humor, all of which help to build trust and safety. Their goals often include learning to regulate emotions, improving communication, building self-esteem, and developing healthier coping strategies. They want to feel more in control of their lives and more connected to themselves and others. At the core, they seek healing, clarity, and the ability to move forward with resilience and confidence because they know, even at a young age, that something better is possible.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, developmental or learning disabilities, and more. I bring a warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach to my work, creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play and art therapy to meet clients where they are developmentally, emotionally, and creatively. These approaches allow to tailor sessions to each individual’s needs, whether that means helping a child express themselves through play, supporting a teen in developing emotion regulation skills, or guiding a young adult through processing past trauma. I also have experience working with clients with disabilities and understand the importance of inclusive, strengths-based care that affirms each individual’s identity and capacity for growth. My work is truly grounded in empathy, validation, gentle care, and the belief that therapeutic progress happens when clients feel deeply understood and supported…with a touch of humor to make the process feel more human. My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop effective coping tools, and create more meaningful connections with themselves and others.
I want my clients to know that therapy with me is a collaborative, compassionate process. I understand how hard it can be to ask for help, especially when you are feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure where to start. Whether you are a young person trying to make sense of big emotions, or a parent concerned about your child’s well-being, you’re not alone, and you do not have to navigate it all on your own! I approach every session with patience, curiosity, and a deep respect for your lived experience. I am here to meet you where you are, without judgment, and walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding. I believe in the power of connection, creativity, and humor to make therapy feel not only helpful, but, most importantly, human. If you are considering starting therapy for yourself or a loved one, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can create a space that feels safe, supportive, and your own.
