I am a provider at our Quincy clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. Therapy can be an intimidating process to initiate. Who enjoys sharing their challenges and problems with their friends, let alone a stranger? As someone who has been on both sides of the therapy chair, I acknowledge this and focus on creating an atmosphere in which you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors freely, without judgment.
I have received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Merrimack College in May 2023, and my B.A. in Psychology from Messiah University in May 2021. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adult populations. My specialties include treating depression, anxiety, significant life/family changes, adjusting through trauma, grief and loss, and men’s issues.
I utilize both person-centered and evidence-based techniques to provide you with the tools and skills that you will be able to use both inside therapy and independently once treatment concludes. Some of these skills include identifying rational & irrational thoughts, mindfulness/grounding techniques, and learning to shift your mindset to cope and accept things that are outside of your control while focusing your energy on things that are. I believe therapy is best utilized collaboratively, so focusing in on joining together and establishing a strong therapeutic working relationship is paramount to successful treatment. Outside of work, I love to go to the gym, try new restaurants, go on hikes, and play video games.
