Kiersten Pistoor, M.Ed

Mental Health Counselor

I am a clinician at our Beverly clinic who provides therapy services!

My ideal client served would be a highly motivated individual who is experiencing transitional life challenges that may include anxiety, mild to moderate depression, self-esteem issues, or difficulties adjusting to new phases of life (such as career changes, relationship transitions, or personal growth stages). They may feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or uncertain about their future direction. Many may also struggle with boundary setting, emotional regulation, or perfectionism.

I am able to provide a supportive, non-judgmental and compassionate space where clients can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of your experiences — at your own pace. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, which means I honor your unique story and your capacity for healing, while creating an environment of trust, safety, and respect. Together, we will work toward helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected — both to yourself and to others — so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of peace.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and reaching out for support takes courage. Many of the clients I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down by past experiences. You may find yourself doing your best to hold it all together, while inside you feel exhausted, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready — or even just curious about what healing could look like — I invite you to reach out!
