Amanda Reyes, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I am a clinician at our Lowell clinic who provides therapy services!

My ideal clients are children and adolescents experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, developmental disabilities, ADHD, and learning disabilities. They may struggle with emotional regulation, social skills, academic performance, or low self-esteem. These clients seek support in developing healthy coping mechanisms, improving executive functioning, and building resilience. Their goals often include managing their symptoms effectively, gaining a stronger sense of self, and applying learned skills to navigate both current challenges and future transitions into adulthood. Ultimately, they want to feel understood, empowered, and equipped to lead emotionally healthy, fulfilling lives.

I bring a blend of experience as a special education educator and behavioral technician, with over four years of working directly with youth in both educational and clinical settings. My work has included developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans, safety plans, and individualized educational plans. I have collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and school counselors, to provide comprehensive, wraparound support. As a bilingual Spanish speaker, I have also worked extensively with Latino and other minority populations, gaining valuable insight into culturally responsive practices. I strive to create a supportive, inclusive environment where clients and families feel seen, heard, and empowered in their growth.

I want the youth I work with to feel seen, supported, and understood. My goal is to be a compassionate, nonjudgmental presence in their lives and to help them build the skills they need to reach their goals. I believe in working together, celebrating progress, and creating a safe space where they feel empowered to grow and succeed.
