My practice is rooted in person-centered therapy, which prioritizes creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. This foundation allows us to build a strong therapeutic alliance, essential for effective healing and growth. I integrate cognitive restructuring techniques to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, fostering more balanced and realistic perspectives. Mindfulness practices are woven throughout our work, enhancing your self-awareness and ability to stay present, reducing anxiety and stress. When appropriate, I employ motivational interviewing to help you resolve ambivalence and strengthen your commitment to positive change. This approach is particularly effective in addressing behaviors or patterns you wish to modify. While these are core elements of my practice, I remain flexible and responsive to your individual needs. I may incorporate elements from other modalities such as DBT for emotional regulation, ACT for developing
psychological flexibility, or trauma-informed approaches when relevant. Our therapeutic journey is collaborative. Together, we’ll develop strategies that resonate with you, empowering you to overcome challenges, build resilience, and move towards a more fulfilling life aligned with your values and goals.
