Mental Health Counselor

I am a clinician at our Woburn clinic who provides therapy services!

I work to create a safe environment assisting clients to reinstate autonomy and empowerment. In this space, the client and therapist move toward health, peace, growth, and transformation.

I draw on integrative feminist-relational-humanist theory, as well as narrative therapy. In addition, I work to help bereaved individuals of any age to reach balance and acceptance, and to rediscover potential for joy in life.
I bring decades of interdisciplinary knowledge to my practice. I am a published writer of academic papers, poetry, and creative nonfiction.

I work across the age range. My specialty is working with clients who have experienced trauma, or multiple traumas in their lives. I believe that most bereaved people may need some help in moving through grief, and specialize in those who have complex grief. My therapeutic approach depends on the individual client.

I believe that therapy can be an opportunity for connection with oneself, to strength, and to joy. I work with people from many backgrounds of experience, and especially like to work with transitional stages such as such as adolescence, emerging adulthood, retirement, loss and illness.
