I am a clinician at our Braintree clinic who provides therapy services!
I am a person-centered, relationally driven, pragmatic, and collaborative therapist who most enjoys working with teens and young adults, but I work with all ages, including children and older adults. I strive to cultivate an environment where the human experience is honored and where clients feel empowered to be their most genuine, open, and engaged selves. I primarily work with individuals but am open to couples and family work.
Clinical interests include general anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, relational conflict, trauma, and youth or transitional issues. I employ cultural humility and hold space for all identities and orientations, including race, religion, gender, sexuality, and ability.
My education includes earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Suffolk University, as well as completion of a dual program at Boston University, receiving a Master of Social Work with a Behavioral Health specialization and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. I have also received my license as a clinical social worker from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
I have experience working in various mental health treatment modalities. During my graduate program, I interned in a heavily structured, therapeutic residential school program for adolescent and young adult girls who have behavioral concerns, are justice- or system-involved, and/or have been exposed to trauma, including sexual assault and childhood neglect. For the second year, I interned in a role similar to my current practice, providing outpatient therapy services from a community clinic, both in-person and virtually. I also worked part-time throughout my program on an inpatient psychiatric hospital unit, providing day-to-day support and crisis intervention as a floor staff member.
Clients can expect a personable, relatable, and to-the-point approach to therapy, emphasizing authenticity, collaboration, and practical skills clients can apply outside of sessions. I aim to incorporate appropriate levity, helping create a space that feels engaging, comfortable, and real—especially for adolescents and young adults.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy trying new restaurants and coffee shops, relaxing on the couch with my dog and cat, and traveling as much as possible.
