Mr. Omar Gebril (he/him/his) is a psychotherapist currently practicing at Northeast Health Services in Quincy, MA. He provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. He welcomes children, teenagers, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship struggles, grief, stress, and social anxiety.
Mr. Gebril maintains a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment/atmosphere during therapy sessions to help his clients openly and freely express themselves. After gaining a comprehensive understanding of their unique needs, he designs therapeutic treatment plans that integrate various interventions from an array of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). He aims to empower clients to make the changes they want to see in life, navigate solutions, learn coping strategies for confronting challenges, and improve overall quality of life.
Mr. Omar Gebril earned his master’s degree in mental health counseling from Boston College, where he also completed his clinical internship through Boston College’s Sports Counseling department, providing mental health counseling services to student-athletes. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut (UConn). He is particularly passionate about men’s mental health and plans to progress into related research in the future, aspiring to develop a model that educates parents, teachers, and coaches using an enhanced framework that guides them in supporting the development of the young boys they raise in this world.
