Michelle Blackmore, MHC

Mental Health Counselor

Life can present challenges, both big and small, that disrupt our sense of balance and can feel overwhelming. Together, we will work to help you reconnect with your inner center, developing strategies to regain balance when life inevitably throws obstacles your way.

Therapy is a collaborative process that extends beyond our time together in sessions. It’s important for clients to actively engage in self-reflection, practice coping strategies, and apply insights from therapy to their daily lives. This work outside of sessions helps to reinforce progress, build new habits, and deepen understanding. Whether it’s journaling, practicing mindfulness, setting goals, or challenging negative thought patterns, these actions are vital in creating lasting change. The work you do between sessions is essential for building the skills and resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges more effectively and to achieve your long-term well-being.

I am here to support you on this journey, offering insights and tools drawn from my education, mentorship, and personal experiences. My goal is to empower you to navigate life’s difficulties with confidence and resilience.

Some of the modalities that I may I incorporate into our sessions that best suit your goals and values: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT); Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Solution Focused Therapy (SFT); Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); Trauma-Focused Therapy

You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to offer support, understanding, and practical tools to help you find balance and healing. If you’re ready to take the first step, reach out. Let’s work together toward your well-being.
