Mental Health Counselor
I am a counselor at our Marlborough clinic who provides therapy services!
My ideal client is a child, adolescent, or young adult who is struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, sleep issues, self-image challenges, low self-esteem, relationship problems, self-harm, and/or suicidality. They are seeking therapy because they want their life to be different, they want things to get better.
I am a mental health counselor working toward LMHC licensure. I graduated from Assumption University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. My approach is rooted in several evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, MI) as well as various play and art therapy techniques. I work collaboratively with my clients and their strengths to encourage exploration about how various aspects of their experiences and identity are impacting their wellbeing and goals. I believe in creating a safe space where clients feel supported and validated as well as challenged to work through their struggles. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, OCD, body image, sleep difficulties, low self-esteem, and life transitions.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, engaging in outdoor activities, reading and learning about other cultures.
