KC Elliott, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Hi, I’m Kyesha, I go by KC. I provide therapy services at our Quincy, MA clinic.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts, and am a graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. My goal is to combine my Christian faith with my work as a mental health clinician to help people grow and build a life worth living, one day at a time. My personal model of counseling is integrative, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. I believe that no single theory fully captures the complexity of human experience. I aim to tailor my approach based on each client’s presenting concerns, personality, and needs.

My orientation is grounded in flexibility, intentional assessment, and the development of a strong therapeutic relationship. At the core of my approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Also, the principles of Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy because I believe it is essential to explore a client’s background and early experiences.

My counseling approach is collaborative, adaptive, and client-centered. I aim to meet you where you are while also providing the appropriate level of structure, guidance, and support. By integrating multiple theoretical perspectives, I am able to conceptualize client concerns holistically and develop treatment plans that are both practical and meaningful.
