Mental Health Counselor
I can a clinician at our Chelsea clinic who provides therapy services!
Within my work I focus on the person as their whole self. Looking at every aspect of their life that can be impacting them in the present. I typically lean into using creative outlets such as narrative therapy and imagery exercises. The folks I’ve worked with have experienced: anxiety struggles, behavioral concerns, developmental delays, gender identity crisis, attention deficits, and experiences that come along with being on the Autism spectrum. With all of my clients my goal is to help them achieve the version of themselves they want to be. Whether that’s less anxious, more confident, or being kinder, my goal is to help them get there.
I believe that each person is capable of change within ourselves and that therapy is a tool to access that ability. With therapy the goal is to achieve balance in the person’s life, to help the person feel fulfilled, listened to, and accepted. We will work on various exercises, worksheets, and sensory activities that will help you achieve the state of being you desire.
My typical clients are experiencing life stressors or traumatic histories that are impacting them in the present. We work on processing, strengthening our responses, activating coping skills, and increasing our ability to thrive in our own lives as well as the communities we exist in.
