Joe Ruth Celestin, MSW

Master’s Level Social Worker

I am a clinician at our Foxborough clinic who provides therapy services!

My ideal client is someone who has been through a lot but is ready to work on themselves. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, past trauma, or substance use. Some may have trouble in relationships or feel stuck in life. What they need most is a safe space where they can talk openly without being judged. They want to learn better ways to cope, communicate, and understand their emotions. Their goals are often to feel more in control, heal from the past, and improve their daily life. Deep down, they want peace, connection, and a chance to grow. They are tired of just surviving and want to start living fully.

I help by creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. My focus is on helping people manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stress. I use approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients build coping skills, change unhelpful thought patterns, and reach their goals. I meet clients where they are, working at their pace and helping them feel empowered. Whether someone is dealing with a difficult past, trying to make a big life change, or just needs someone to talk to, I offer care that is honest, respectful, and focused on real progress.

I want my clients to know that I truly care and that they are not alone. I understand that reaching out for help isn’t easy, and it takes a lot of strength to do so. My goal is to make them feel safe, supported, and understood. I’m here to listen without judgment and to walk with them at their own pace. No matter what they’ve been through, change and healing are possible. If they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here. They don’t have to figure everything out on their own, we can work through it together.
