I am a provider at our Plymouth clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. When it comes to clients, I do not like to discriminate. Although I thoroughly enjoy early and middle childhood, I have experience working with adolescents, families, and older adults. Clients with histories of anxiety, depression, attachment struggles, and trauma will have a safe, supportive, and judgment-free healing experience through our work together. Each client is seen as an individual with uniquely personal experiences, and our therapeutic sessions are designed accordingly.
My office is equipped for play and art therapies, and I am actively pursuing certifications in several related modalities, including sand tray therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). I also enjoy helping clients with mindfulness meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, and grounding exercises. From the youngest of clients, I offer a host of age-appropriate and “fun” emotional identification and regulation techniques to help set up future successes. Additionally, I have some experience with the LBGTQ+ community (particularly with persons transitioning), as well as with individuals struggling with SUD.
Play is the language of children, and I am here to facilitate that expression. Through play, art, and breathing/muscle exercises (designed per individual), I hope to bring out and strengthen the best versions of my clients so they feel confident and regulated at home, in school and/or work, and in the community.
