Social Worker
I am a clinician at our West Springfield clinic who provides therapy services!
I don’t believe in having an “ideal client” because every person’s journey is unique, and I never want someone to feel like they have to fit a certain mold to be accepted in therapy. My priority is to meet clients where they are, without expectation, and create a space where they feel safe, respected, and heard.
What I do value is working with clients who are ready to show up for themselves, understanding that therapy isn’t always easy, and that self-work can be both challenging and transformative. I want to work alongside people who are open to exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, even when it’s uncomfortable, because that’s where growth happens.
I’m passionate about working with a wide range of people: children, teens, adults, and aging adults, and I find deep meaning in helping clients navigate trauma and its impact. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we learn from each other, and I aim to empower clients to push beyond their comfort zones when they feel ready, always at their own pace and in a way that feels right for them.
At the core, I’m looking to build real, trusting connections with clients who are willing to engage in the process with honesty and openness, because while therapy can be tough, it can also be life-changing.
I offer adaptability and a personalized approach to every client I work with. I don’t believe in relying on a single intervention or a one-size-fits-all method because every person’s experience and needs are different. While I have training and experience in a range of evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), psychotherapy, and acceptance-based approaches—what truly guides my work is intuition and the ability to build meaningful connections with my clients.
I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My goal is to meet clients where they are emotionally and tailor my interventions to what feels most useful and effective for them in the moment. Therapy is a partnership, and I bring flexibility, empathy, and a commitment to working collaboratively to help clients reach their goals and create lasting change.
I know what it feels like to be in that place where you want to ask for help but it feels weird or hard or even intimidating. Honestly, asking for help is often the hardest part, but once you’ve taken that step, we can figure out the rest together.
No, you won’t have to lie on a couch with your eyes closed while I dramatically tell you all your deep-seated issues—therapy’s a bit more down-to-earth than that. The way I work is I stay curious, communicate openly, and create a space where we can be serious when we need to, but also laugh and find moments of lightness. I never expect a client to show up a certain way. Just show up as you are, and we’ll figure it out from there.
Feeling better doesn’t have to be linear. Growth can be messy and uncomfortable at times, but that’s part of the real, meaningful process of change. If you’re considering therapy, I’d love to work with you to explore what’s going on and help you move toward a place that feels better for you.
