Throughout the therapy process, my primary goals are to facilitate realistic change, ensure individuals feel heard and understood, and collaborate with clients, families, and community members to achieve unique objectives. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples at various stages of their life challenges. My aim is to help them recognize their strengths and build solid foundations.
My approach balances warmth, humor, curiosity, and transparency, creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable and safe navigating life’s struggles. I have worked with a variety of issues, including but not limited to general life challenges, trauma, identity formulation, adjustments, pre-marital concerns, anxiety/depression, sex education, communication struggles, infidelity, grief/bereavement, parental guidance, racial distress, and societal pressures.
I specialize in trauma, family dynamics, and individual therapy for pre-teens, adolescents, adults, and blended families. I am passionate about supporting those who wish to explore their identity, understand how their past influences their present, and develop a stronger sense of self. Additionally, I enjoy helping clients with self-advocacy, confidence-building, setting boundaries, psychoeducation, and navigating major life transitions such as grief, school concerns, stress, and finding purpose.
