Mental Health Counselor
Hi, I’m Gina Cestaro, a mental health counselor with experience working with children, teens, adults, and families in outpatient, community-based, and telehealth settings. I provide therapy services at our Falmouth, MA clinic.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel supported, heard, and empowered. I have a strong background in expressive arts therapy and use creativity, reflection, and practical skill-building to help clients better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges. I create an inclusive, affirming space where clients feel safe being themselves without judgment.
I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that focuses on the whole person. I integrate expressive arts, strengths-based work, and action-oriented strategies to help clients build self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and practical tools for meaningful change, increased safety, stability, and overall well-being.
I believe therapy works best when people feel comfortable enough to be themselves. I take a warm, down-to-earth approach and create a space that feels genuine, supportive, inclusive, and approachable, even when discussing difficult topics. I believe growth is possible for everyone, and that small steps taken consistently lead to meaningful change over time.
