Master of Social Work
Hello, I’m Frank “Chris” Nelson Jr., a therapist at our Pembroke, MA clinic. I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults in inpatient care and in the community. My career has focused on supporting people on the autism spectrum through individual and group therapy. I also serve middle and high school students at my church, gaining experience in faith-based guidance. My goal is to create a safe space for open, honest conversation. Using a strength-based approach, I help you explore your thoughts and emotions and how they shape your life. In every session, you can expect respect, clarity, and steady support.
By working as a team, we’ll build a safe space to explore your feelings. Using approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and mindful-based techniques, I’ll help you better understand your emotions. Through this exploration, new coping skills and new strengths can grow as we work together in your self-exploration.
I know self-exploration isn’t easy, which is why it takes a team built on honesty and collaboration. It’s okay to feel lost, understanding your thoughts and emotions alone can be hard. You know yourself best, and it would be an honor to be part of your team. I look forward to working with you and hearing your story!
