Licensed Mental Health Counselor Intern
My ideal client would be aware of areas they would like to work on and be willing to have an open mind to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with the aim of healing. Establishing their needs and goals would be an integral part of our sessions. This will help me as a therapist to determine which therapeutic approaches would be most beneficial and comfortable for them.
I will help you in finding healing through a combination of traditional talk therapy and various psychotherapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices. Additionally, I offer alternative creative interventions such as art therapy, music therapy, written emotional therapy, and meditation. With experience in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, I can provide diverse approaches tailored to your individual needs. Together, we will engage in open communication, maintaining a nonjudgmental, caring, and understanding environment to identify the most effective strategies for achieving your treatment goals.
A little bit about me: I’m a graduate student at Cambridge College in Boston, MA. I am in the Master’s of Education Mental Health Counseling Program, with a minor in Trauma Studies. Helping others brings me so much joy and fulfillment, and I can ensure that my calming demeanor, sense of humor, positivity, creativity, and nonjudgmental attitude will be helpful as you work through some difficult times. Outside of school and work, I enjoy yoga, trying new restaurants, hanging with friends and family, music, spending time in nature and by the ocean, watching standup comedy, reading/watching psychological thriller books and tv shows, and sleeping in as much as possible!
Please feel free to reach out if you would like to chat about working together and if you have any questions! I am here to help you. 🙂
