Welcome, I am Charity Shuster, & my background is in Marriage and Family Therapy which takes a systems approach to looking at issues & concerns. I work at our Auburn clinic and provide therapy from a trauma-informed, compassion-focused, space, acknowledging your strengths and validating your experiences.

My specialties include, anxiety, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia/schizoaffective conditions, Bipolar, survivors of trauma, narcissism, & emotional, mental, & verbal abuse. I also specialize in grief, secondary trauma/compassion fatigue, life stressor’s, medical issues/trauma, chronic illness/pain, worry, stress management, & life events & there impacts.

I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space, meeting you where you are at, with the focus that you feel accepted, heard, & valued always. I also strive to provide an integrated warm, approach that provides you with safety & freedom to reflect on personal challenges, life changes/challenges etc.

Developing trust is key! My goal is to provide an open, warm, safe place to be able to tell your story, holding a compassionate, non-judgmental, and validating space. I believe that as the client, you are the expert! When people feel heard, supported and cared about, hope is reignited.
