Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

I have experience working with clients with various mental health issues. I have experience working with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. I enjoy taking the time to understand the client and their life stressors. This allows me to work with the client in identifying ongoing issues and working with the client towards creating and achieving their goals.

In working with clients, I take use a variety of therapeutic techniques. I work with clients to develop healthy coping skills and grounding techniques so that they may safely work through their issues. I tend to incorporate CBT skills into sessions as appropriate.

In working with clients, I take the time needed to build therapeutic rapport. I find this is important to truly understand and empathize with the client. I work with the client to establish the skills needed to accomplish their goals.
