I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults grappling with emotional and psychological challenges such as depression, anxiety, attachment and relationship issues, cultural adaptation, and childhood trauma. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where people can feel understood and validated, along with learning practical coping skills to manage their symptoms. These clients desire emotional stability, healthier relationships, a positive self-image, and resilience to life stressors. They seek relief from their distressing symptoms and yearn for empowerment to take control of their lives and foster their personal growth and healing from past trauma.
I aim to empower clients, help them discover their inner strengths, and guide them on a journey of healing and self-discovery. My goal is to provide compassionate support and evidence-based interventions tailored to the client’s unique needs. I combine elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-based interventions.
I’m deeply committed to creating a compassionate and supportive environment for clients. I bring not only my professional expertise but also a genuine passion for helping and the personal experience of a first-generation immigrant. Beyond my role as a therapist, I’m an advocator for mental health awareness and intersectional social justice.
