Intern

Hi! My name is Shaina Fusco, I am a mental health counseling intern at Northeast Health Services – Woburn. I have a background in special education and in-home behavioral healthcare working with children of all ages and their families. I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan and implement a flexible, person-centered approach to meet you where you are at in your mental health journey. I am passionate about providing services for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and strive to create an accepting and supportive environment for all.

Using a combination of person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy, I encourage you to examine your values and goals and then achieve those goals by increasing coping skills, improving problem-solving, and reducing stress.

I believe that all people- of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, and ethnicities- deserve equal access to compassionate mental health care. It is my goal as a clinician to meet you where you are at and support you in getting where you want to be. I commend you for taking the first step and look forward to working with you on your mental health journey.
