Samuel Brown, CMHC

Clinical Mental Health Counselor

My ideal clients are young adults navigating the stress of school, work, or relationships, as well as those experiencing anxiety or depression related to personal challenges such as family dynamics, relationships, work, or academics. I also work with individuals who are shifting their focus in life or goals, seeking healthier ways to manage stress, and building self-confidence and self-efficacy. Additionally, I support adolescents and adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, helping them develop strategies to improve their overall well-being.

I have experience in speaking with adults and adolescents in crisis, as well as helping clients feel safe, heard, and respected in areas of life where they feel vulnerable. I have experience working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I’m an excellent listener and can work with client at their preferred pace towards their personal goals in therapy.

I know life can get busy and complicated very quickly that at times we forget to check-in on ourselves. That can add to uncertainty, stress, and burnout if left unaddressed. I welcome anyone who is feeling overwhelmed, or even underwhelmed, by life’s challenges to discuss goals, feelings, and experiences that have a significant impact on your life. Everyone deserves to feel respected and unashamed about who they are and what they want.
