Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hi There! My name is Samuel Tully, LCSW, providing therapy services at our Pembroke Clinic. I go by Sam, and I’m a licensed clinician educated at Lesley University and trained Cambridge Health Alliance. My clinical training grounds me in adult and geriatric psychiatry, including both inpatient and outpatient settings, and I bring that range to therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. Before entering the field, I spent years working in state government and public education, both providing me with experiences that shape how I think about the systems and stresses my clients navigate day to day.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in humanistic and mindfulness-based practice, with narrative and psychodynamic threads. I trust that each person carries their own capacity for insight and change, and I see my role as one of helping create the conditions where that capacity can emerge.

Reaching out for support takes real courage, especially when what’s happening inside feels difficult to name. I believe therapy works when a client feels genuinely met without judgment, without agenda, and at their own pace. If any of this resonates, I’d welcome the chance to hear what brings you here.
