Mental Health Counselor

Hello, I’m Ruth D. Cupidon, a therapist in Lowell. I’m a compassionate, trauma-informed counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults. My healthcare background has shaped my understanding of the many factors that influence well-being. I use a person-centered, collaborative approach and evidence-based strategies such as CBT, while recognizing that each person’s experiences and needs are unique. I strive to create a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or life transitions, I’m here to support you.

I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and substance use. Using person-centered therapy and CBT, I help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and recognize their strengths while creating meaningful, lasting change in a supportive, collaborative space.

You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone or have everything figured out before starting therapy. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, recognize your resilience, and work toward meaningful change at your own pace.
