Greetings! My name is Ruby Eaton, and I’m one of the mental health counseling interns for the 2026-27 academic year at our Newton clinic. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing upon a range of modalities such as CBT, ACT, Gestalt therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy and feminist psychotherapy. I am most interested in working with children and adolescents, college students, as well as trauma, anxiety and depressive disorders. Through our time together, I hope we can create a space where you feel understood, accepted, and empowered to make the meaningful changes that you’ve been leaning toward.
I have a background in school and career counseling, and previously interned at a nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic violence. While I am still building my clinical experience, I offer current knowledge of evidence-based practices and training, curiosity, and a strong commitment to providing thoughtful, trauma-informed, culturally-affirming care.
Reaching out for help takes courage, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
