Mental Health Counselor

Hello! My name is Noah Snyder, and I am one of the counselors at the Salem clinic. I have clinical experience working with young adults and substance addiction. However, I have many volunteer hours of community service working with adolescents and children. My goal is to create an anti-shame, guilt-free environment with an emphasis on a judgment-free zone. Using approaches that work best for you, we will work together toward goals discussed in session. I love my job, and I care deeply for the people I work with.

By processing unfelt emotions and thoughts, reflecting on the current self, and developing helpful coping mechanisms, we will work together towards your expressed goals in session. If something doesn’t work for you, that’s okay. We will explore something else! Healing looks different for everyone.

I want to hear your story, I want to walk with you through your pain. I will not judge you, no matter how “bad” you think something is. We are all human, and we will work through this together. Walking with you is my greatest privilege.
