Mental Health Counselor

Hello, I’m Nicole Kosar. I provide therapy services at Northeast Health Services’ Watertown clinic. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and work with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. My clinical experience includes working in outpatient therapy settings with clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, and questions of identity and self-development.
My approach draws from relational-cultural, person-centered, and feminist frameworks, all tailored to fit who you are and what you’re working through, not the other way around.
I focus on trauma and life transitions, and care deeply about family and relationship dynamics, queer identity/experiences, and the role of spirituality in healing. Using Internal Family Systems, self-compassion, and ACT, I offer integrative, trauma-informed care adapted to who you are and what you’re working through.
I love supporting people at every stage of life as they move through change, whether it’s starting somewhere new, healing from something hard, or becoming more fully yourself. Whether that means processing the past, building skills for the present, or exploring who you want to become, this space can hold it, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
